The Golden Age of Mystery at Scarsdale Library with Jo-Anne Weinberg Tomorrow!

The Golden Age of Mystery is usually considered to include British authors of the 1920s and 1930s, although the style was written at least as early as 1911. Everyone has heard of Agatha Christie, but there were other excellent writers in that era.

Please join us on Thursday, October 17th from 2-3 PM to explore these writers. This talk, led by librarian Jo-Anne Weinberg,  is an introduction to authors of the period, which include Patricia Wentworth, R. Austin Freedman, Gladys Mitchell and Ellery Queen just to name a few.

Refreshments will be served.

With construction underway at the Olmsted Road library, the session will be held at the Scarsdale Alternative School, 45 Wayside Lane.

Registration is required via telephone at 914-722-1302 or online at scarsdalelibrary.org.
