Groove Family Music Comes to Scarsdale, Offers Free Demo Classes

Groove’s award-winning music classes for kids offered in Larchmont, Mamaroneck, and Scarsdale this fall

Free demo class available for new families

Groove Family Music, a mainstay in the Westchester family music scene, is bringing its Music for Aardvarks classes to 3 new locations this Fall.  

Beginning on Tuesday, September 18, Music for Aardvarks’ classes for children ages 3 months through 4 years will be held Mondays and Wednesdays at JCC Mid-Westchester, 999 Wilmot Road in Scarsdale, Tuesdays and Thursdays at Artistree , 114 West Boston Post

Road in Mamaroneck and on Fridays at Larchmont Temple, 75 Larchmont Avenue in Larchmont.  Advance registration is required for all classes.  A complete schedule including free demo classes for new families, free community concerts, and birthday party information can be found at findgroove.com.

Music for Aardvarks was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1997 and brought to Westchester in 2004 by Groove Family Music.  Music for Aardvarks is an alternative to traditional music classes for kids. Classes feature original live music, dance party and instrument jam led by accomplished musician/educators. With influences of rock, blues, ballads, folk, jazz and pop, Aardvarks’ extensive song collection reflects and celebrates the lives of children growing up today.   

Groove Family Music is celebrating its 14 th year as the exclusive producer of Music for Aardvarks classes in lower Westchester County.
