Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley (RMHGHV) recently presented a Red Shoe Award to Anthony Trimarchi, Managing Director, J.P. Morgan Private Bank and a co-leader of the firm’s Westchester and Hudson Valley Market Leadership Team. JPMorgan Chase was honored as Program Partner of the Year in 2020 and finally received their award last week. Due to ongoing Covid restrictions preventing RMHGHV from having their annual Red Shoe Award gala the team at RMHGHV decided to take to the road to recognize their honorees one by one and thank them for their dedication to the children and families who call Ronald McDonald House their home.
According to Christina Riley, Executive Director RMHGHV, JPMorgan Chase and its Westchester and Hudson Valley employees have become a leading partner of the organization. Through the Market Leadership Team (MLT), their involvement includes funding the Overflow Housing program, which provides hotel accommodations for families due to occupancy restraints in the House. Support is also given to the COVID Relief Plan, which was developed to continue providing critical services to families during the pandemic. This year, JPMorgan increased their support once again, making them one of the organization’s largest corporate partners. In addition to their financial commitment, JPMorgan fulfills their corporate social responsibility by encouraging volunteerism among their employees who cook for the Meals that Heal program, collect household essentials and food pantry items, all of which helps families feel at home. The firm’s commitment is so powerful that Trimarchi joined the RMHGHV Board of Directors and now serves as Secretary of the Board. “We decided it was finally time to honor our award recipients and take Red Shoe on the Road to personally recognize those individuals and organizations who go above and beyond for families who call our House home,” said Riley.”It is with tremendous pride that we honor JPMorgan Chase with a Red Shoe Award as Program Partner of the Year.”
As a parent of a child who battled a chronic disease, Trimarchi knows firsthand the importance of keeping families together during their child’s medical crisis, especially during the ongoing pandemic. “The stress and uncertainty that we all experienced the past two years reminds us of what families with critically ill children face every day and through the COVID Relief Plan, JPMorgan Chase is so proud to support and continue to invest in Ronald McDonald House of the Greater Hudson Valley and its mission to help as many families in the community as possible,” said Trimarchi.
