Children's Room Activities for June 19-23, 2023 with the Somers Library

The Somers Library will be closed on Monday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
We will reopen on Tuesday, June 20th at 10 am.

Crafts To Go!
Stop by the Children's Room
during library hours to pick up a craft bag with activities to enjoy at home. A new craft will be available every other Monday. While supplies last.

Summer Reading Kick-Off
Thursday, June 22nd
1:30 pm in the Pavilion at Reis Park
Get ready for Summer Reading! Join us for some Juggling Fun with Jester Jim. For the entire family- all ages. No registration needed.

There will be no Pajama Story Time this week.
In-Person Story Time resumes on Tuesday, June 27th at 6:30 pm.
Bring a blanket to sit outside and hear bedtime stories read by Doris Jane Smith. In case of inclement weather, story time will move indoors.
No registration needed.

StoryWalk Returns!
June 9-23
Enjoy the beginning of Summer in the park as you walk around the outside of the library and read:
"I'm Sticking with You"
written by Smriti Prasadam-Halls and
illustrated by Steve Small .
After your walk, bring in your ticket to receive a special prize.

Look for our new book displays for Summer, Kindergarten, Father's Day, Juneteenth and more.
