Keep the Buses Rolling to the Jacob Burns Film Center

Our Education Department is ready for the start of a new school year, but we need your help! We must raise $80,000 in order to keep the buses rolling throughout the 2014-15 school year.

Each year, buses roll to and from the JBFC campus, bringing thousands of students who are eager to learn and create. More than 70% of the nearly 13,000 students who participate in our programs come from underserved school districts, including Yonkers and Mt. Vernon.

While our programs are available to these schools completley free of charge, the JBFC also reimburses transportation costs for over 7,000 students each and every year.

It's as simple as this. Without your financial support, these students would not be able to experience our innovative approach to education. Next to faculty, busing is the single largest expense in our education budget.

Please make your gift today. Together, we WILL keep the buses rolling!
