The Support-A-Walk was founded twenty years ago by local residents to bring attention to the needs of people affected by breast and ovarian cancer. People travel from across the Hudson Valley and beyond to take part in this inspiring and uplifting community event.

There are many ways to become involved, even for those who can't attend. Donations can be made at any time, online or by check or cash. Supporters near and far can create personal fundraising pages to ask friends and family for donations. People can form teams to walk or fundraise. Tribute Message Signs, displayed along the Walk path for thousands to see, are available for $50 each. Corporate sponsorships enable businesses to show support for their community while gaining wide public exposure. Proceeds from the Support-A-Walk provide funding for Support Connection's free, year-round breast and ovarian cancer support services.
