February was Children’s Dental Health Awareness month. Not only did we go around to locals schools, but we also hosted our first annual Tooth Fair’y’ event with our local Girl Scout troops! We had over 60 girls participate in hands on dental education, earning them a badge for their vests.
America’s ToothFairy; an organization that delivers education, prevention and treatment services for underserved children, promotes a campaign called a Smile Drive. Since 2014, nearly 2 million oral care products have been distributed to families in need. Our Tooth Fair’y’ event was the kick off to our very own Smile Drive in which we are collecting new toothbrushes, toothpastes, floss or rinses and donating them to the children and families of Blythedale Children's Hospital and Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center.
