Local Author To Speak At Event For Support Connection

On Thursday, February 11, from 7-8 pm (NY time) Support Connection will hold a virtual event via ZOOM: “How to Love Yourself-With Mary Prenon.” Tickets are $15 per person. Proceeds will benefit Support Connection's free support services and programs. Author Mary Prenon will talk about her book I’m Lazy and I Love to Eat, where she shares her personal experiences. According to Amazon.com, in her book Mary tells her story with “laugh-out-loud relatability and heartbreaking honesty.” Mary will discuss her thoughts on how to love yourself, and the steps she took in her own journey that can apply to challenges faced by others.

The event is part of Support Connection’s year-long celebration marking 25 years of providing help and hope to people dealing with breast and ovarian cancer. Since Support Connection opened their doors in 1996, thousands of people have been helped by the organization’s free cancer support services and programs.
