The Somers Library Foundation will be holding their 3rd annual 5k Trail Run and 1-Mile Family Fun Run Sunday, September 14, 2014. The trail run will begin at 9 a.m. and the family mile run will begin shortly afterwards at 9:30 a.m.
All donations and proceeds go to the Somers Library Foundation. This is an independent fundraising organization that works with Somers Library to improve the library's services. Libraries offer so much more than a place to check out books. Today libraries offer a multitude of events, whether they are to help better businesses, enhance the minds of young readers, or even to expand our cultural palette. This is a wonderful cause that could all the support it can get.
Register in advance and get the "Early Bird" fees. All prices will increase by $5 after September 3rd so don't delay!
