BOOK GROUP FOR WOMEN WITH CANCER

Support Connection, Inc. announces that the next session of their “Book Club For Women With Cancer” will take place on Thurs., Feb. 28, from 7-9 pm at NY-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt Manor, NY. Open to people living with breast, ovarian and gynecological cancers. To learn more or to pre-register (PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED) call Support Connection at 914-962-6402 or 800-532-4290.

BOOK SELECTION: Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman.  Eleanor is flawed, but her weirdness and wit create an out-of-the-ordinary heroine who is just trying to survive. Reese Witherspoon says: “I fell in love with Eleanor, an eccentric and regimented loner whose life beautifully unfolds after a chance encounter with a stranger. I think you will fall in love too!”

DISCUSSION LEADER: Amy Curran Baker, author of Now What? A Guide to Recovery After Mastectomy.
