SWC Open House

Come join Somers Women's Club for a special evening for potential new members, featuring an informational program about our club; who we are, what we do, and how we function. The meeting is open to all women from Somers (and surrounding communities that do not have a Women's Club). Women of all ages are invited to attend to learn more about the club.

SWC was organized in 1972 and is a not-for-profit organization that provides support and assistance to individuals, families and community groups such as the Putnam/Northern Westchester Women's Resource Center, Support Connection, Somers Town Library, the Northern Westchester Community Center, the Somers Food Pantry, Veteran's Hospital, Relay for Life, Friends of Karen, and many more. SWC sponsors an annual Blood Drive, monitors the bluebirds at Somers Library, maintains the (newly renovated) garden at the intersection of Routes 100 and 138, and sponsors the Independence Day essay contest for schoolchildren. SWC awards scholarships to graduating seniors and camp scholarships to needy children.

We have groups for readers, knitters, card players and more! In the past few years, club membership has continued to increase. Find out why on April 10th.

April 10, 2019 at 6:30pm at the Somers Library Community Room
