10th Anniversary of the Putnam County Wine & Food Fest to Be Held August 8th and 9th

The Putnam County Wine & Food Fest is proud to announce the 10th anniversary festival that will be held on August 8 and 9, 2020, at Mayor’s Park, 61 Fair Street, Cold Spring, NY. The two-day festival will highlight renowned cider, spirits and wine producers from Hudson Valley and beyond and will feature food, arts and crafts, a beer tent plus local and international bands.

“The Putnam Wine Festival is a lovely event with wonderful vendors!” says, WHUD’s, Kacey Moribito Grean. “A beautiful day by the river!”, she added.

Getting to the fest will be a breeze as patrons can take Metro-North’s Hudson Line to Cold Spring, NY and the venue is within walking distance. You can also drive or take the Trolley from the Beacon or Cold Spring Metro-North station. They can also take Amtrak from either north or south to Poughkeepsie or Croton on Harmon and then take Metro-North train to Cold Spring. Free parking is along the perimeter of the park, Route 9D on Northern Avenue or at Haldane High School where you can take the free shuttle to/from the venue. There is also metered parking at the Municipal Parking Lot on Fair Street.

Event sponsors include Hudson Valley Wine Magazine, Hudson Valley Magazine, WAG Magazine, Manhattan Beer Distributors, New York By Rail Amtrak and Metro-North Railroad.

Metro-North will extensively promote the fest on their website, Mileposts, Getaway to the Hudson Valley, Connecticut and Beyond, at their train stations, and more and will offer discounted tickets to the fest.

New York By Rail Amtrak will also extensively promote the fest on their website, magazines, train stops and at their event in Penn Station.

An important commitment by the Putnam County Wine & Food Fest is giving back to the community. While the event is a private, for profit event, Putnam County Wine & Food Fest partners with local charities which will afford them the opportunity to use a code to receive 45% of all sales tracked to the code!

Designated Driver tickets to the festival, which runs from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and 11am to 5pm on Sunday, are $10 and include cooking demonstrations, live music, food, specialty food, arts and crafts vendors for purchase and other activities. Wine Tasting tickets are $25/Advance and $35/Gate include a wine tasting glass, event program and wine, spirits and cider tastings along with other product samples inside the main tent. Performances will feature musical genres including pop, country, R&B and Reggae.
