The Somers Historical Society are calling for Artists for the 2nd Annual Somers Art Circus
in conjunction with the 11th Annual World Circus Day Celebration
Organized by Somers Historical Society in conjunction with 11th Annual World Circus Day celebration at the Elephant Hotel on Saturday, April 18 Noon – 4pm in Bailey Park , Somers, NY (In the event of rain, arrangements will be made to exhibit indoors.)
Criteria: Original paintings, drawings, sculpture and photography. $40 entry fee for 10’ x 10’ space. Must provide your own set-ups. A percentage of entry fee proceeds will benefit the Old Bet Statue Fund.
World Circus Day is an international festival created by Federation Mondiel du Cirque and chaired by Princess Stefanie of Monaco to celebrate circus arts. In Somers, festivities will be held in the Somers Hamlet National Historic District in Bailey Park and at the Elephant Hotel, a National Historic Landmark .
