Latimer reads ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ For Children Who Are Home From School

As Westchester County residents struggle to strike a balance between home-schooling their children and working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, County Executive George Latimer, and grandfather of two, once again offered a brief respite by reading ‘Where The Wild Things Are,’ written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. Latimer understands the continued stressors facing parents who are now tasked with maintaining their child’s engagement and development for the remainder of the school year.
