LOVE, LINDA, the hit show that had its recent encore production in 2018 at the Schoolhouse Theatre before transferring back to NYC, will have its cinematic world premiere on Cole Porter's Birthday, this June 9th with Broadway On Demand. The film recreates the acclaimed stage performance by original star Stevie Holland, with direction by Richard Maltby, Jr.
LOVE, LINDA tells the story of Linda Lee Thomas, the Southern beauty who was married to legendary songwriter Cole Porter. Created by Holland and award-winning composer Gary William Friedman, Porter's timeless songs, with innovative arrangements by Friedman, weave through the compelling narrative, celebrating the deep love they shared, while examining the darker sides of their life. The score for LOVE, LINDA includes such beloved Porter songs as "Night and Day", "I Love Paris," "In the Still of the Night" and "Love for Sale."
