Come Sailing October 11th with Westchesters Land Trusts

We are joining together with the Lewisboro Land Trust and the Putnam Land Trust in partnership with Clearwater to host a three-hour sail on the Hudson River on Saturday, October 11th from 4 - 7pm. The crew and staff of the Clearwater will provide answers to our questions, instructions in sailing and enjoyable music, as we cruise up and down the Hudson, returning at sunset.

Sound like fun? The sail leaves from and returns to Beacon, where you can enjoy dinner afterward in one of their many quaint restaurants, if you desire. As partners in conservation, stewardship and environmental responsibility, we think this is a unique opportunity to share our missions and goals and love of the outdoors all in the spirit of fun!

So come and enjoy the Hudson Valley's beautiful vistas and historic landmarks from aboard the majestic 106' long replica tall ship. Learn about the Hudson River, its place in American history and how a grassroots group of volunteers fought to save it. And there will be plenty of time to just relax and take in the beauty of the river!

Tickets are $45.00 per person. Light snacks will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own wine, beer or marguerites! Proceeds help to support the work of the Somers Land Trust.
