Safe Homes Needs Your Help

We have an URGENT client need for two seats (for a survivor and their Safe Homes advocate) on a domestic flight from a local airport, and three seats (including a child) on a flight back home. Kristen stated, "We’re trying to do something quite unprecedented, and take a Safe Homes client (a survivor of intimate partner violence) across state lines to Nebraska to take back her child, as her abuser fled there with the child. We will be flying a Safe Homes advocate there with her, and the child will also, hopefully, be returning home. We’re in need of flight miles, donated flights in general, or just monetary donations to help cover other travel costs."

Safe Homes of Orange County’s mission is to work toward the elimination of intimate partner violence, teen dating violence, and trafficking by providing comprehensive support services to victims and their children, and by increasing public awareness about these issues and encouraging accountability for perpetrators. Safe Homes not only services all of Orange County, but is now the sole provider of these services for Sullivan County, as well.
