New Writer’s Club! The Writing Habit
Mondays, Beginning January 24th
10:30am -12:00pm (Session A) or 12:30pm - 2:00pm (Session B)
There are two sessions for this program - please sign up for one or the other. Meeting dates: 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14, 2/28, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21, 3/28, 4/4, 4/11, & 4/18. Important: This program will start off virtually, but will be in-person as soon as it is safe.
So, you’re a writer. What are you writing for? Look no further: you’ve found a literary calling. Please join short-story writer Gabrielle Esposito for a virtual 12-week Creative Writing program sponsored by the Somers Library. Fiction and nonfiction writers, poets, and playwrights welcome.
Presenter: Gabrielle Esposito is a semi-recent graduate of SUNY Geneseo’s Creative Writing program. Her short stories have been published in literary magazines like 34THParallel, The Manhattanville Review, Gandy Dancer, and many more. She practices writing everyday, for fear of losing her literary edge. Gabrielle chose to title the group "The Writing Habit" (a term originated by David Huddle) because she would like to acknowledge that the writers who are joining the course are making a remarkable commitment to make writing a daily part of their lives.
