Robison Summer Concert Series Returns To Kensico Dam Plaza

Summer is here and it’s time to head outdoors for some good old rock and roll as Garcia’s presents Dead Meat, a Grateful Dead Tribute Band, to kick off the Robison Summer Concert Series on Thursday, July 21, at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. 

County Executive George Latimer said, “Music possesses the power to unite people and create a feeling of harmony. We are happy to provide the opportunity for Westchester residents to come together at Westchester’s own ‘Central Park’ and enjoy a variety of live music with family and friends.”

Parks Commissioner Kathleen O’Connor said, “Music lifts the spirit and sooths the soul on a warm summer night. So arrive early, grab a good spot and get ready for a terrific time.”

All concerts will be ticketed-admission events, with purchase available by online pre-sale only. Tickets are $10 per person. Children 5 years and older require a ticket. Pre-purchase tickets online only at https://maingatetickets.com/events/view/1303. Tickets will not be available for purchase onsite on the day of the event. 

Seating will be general admission style.

Gates open at 6 p.m., concerts begin at 7 p.m. and parking is free.  Please bring blankets and lawn chairs for seating and coolers are permitted.

Saturday, Aug. 13 │ Songs in the Attic – A musical tribute to Billy Joel

Friday, Aug. 26 │45 Riots and SAGE – A one-night festival of blazing R&B, jazz, soul and dance!

The Robison Summer Concert Series is presented by Westchester County Parks and Sharc Creative with Westchester Parks Foundation, and support from Westchester Talk Radio, 100.7 WHUD, 107.1 The Peak, Garcia's at The Capitol Theatre, Hamlethub, Palisades Mazda, The Premier Collection, Inspiria Outdoor Advertising, and Westchester Magazine.
