New Options for Accessing Bee-Line Bus System Real-Time Information
Westchester County is making it easier for Bee-Line Bus System passengers to get up-to-the-minute bus arrival information. There are now four app options for passengers to use to access real-time information on your mobile device, with great features including trip planning, arrival time, and even the ability to see on a map where the bus you are waiting to board is currently located. Options include “Google Maps,” “Apple Maps,” “Transit” and “Moovit.”
County Executive George Latimer said: “Keeping residents informed of the status of their Bee-Line bus, which remains fare-free through Labor Day, will save time, money and ease the worry of riders who rely on this exceptional service each and every day. We are committing to enhancing what County government can provide to the residents we serve.”
DPW/T Commissioner Hugh J. Greechan, Jr. P.E. said: “We are always looking to enhance the passenger experience for Bee-Line passengers, and real-time information is one of the most customer-friendly features that we can provide. With four app options, passengers can choose the interface and features that they prefer and enjoy the same accurate information generated from Bee-Line’s on board vehicle location system.”
