According to Wenacur, Zaneta compliments Polly Teitel, an Assistant with the firm since 2014. Together they work behind the scenes to handle the day to day details of the business which include connecting with clients, manufacturers, artisans and installers. Zaneta grew up in the Czech Republic and arrived in United States in 2003. While assimilating to life in this country she earned an Associate’s Degree in Interior Design from Berkeley College in Paramus, NJ and a Bachelor’s Degree in finance from SUNY New Paltz. “Ever since my first encounter with the design world as an independent consultant I have always loved drafting, designing interiors and all aspects of the Interior Design process,” said Zaneta. “Working with the team at DW Design & Decor has been very rewarding and I truly enjoy being able to help people create beautiful and functional environments and finding new purposes for old things.” Teitel channeled her creative talents towards a degree in Theatre and Fashion Design from FIT. Her passion for this field formed when she and her husband bought a beautiful farmhouse built in 1842 with wonderful architectural details and she realized then that she loved the business of Interior Design and all of the details associated with process. “It takes so many people to bring the creative ideas to life for our clients. The best part is seeing the transformation of a home as a result of our great teamwork. We are thrilled to add Zaneta to our team so we can continue to provide our clients with excellent service.”

Wenacur, attended NY School of Interior Design, received a Construction Mgt. certificate from Pace University and has had her design work published in several books and trade magazines. The local mom of two has also served as an online color expert for Benjamin Moore paints and has participated as a judge in the Architectural Digest Home Show in NYC. She is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers, International Interior Design Association and is a Certified WBE and DBE (Women in Business Enterprise).
