Grant Professionals of Lower Hudson Announces 2019 Board of Directors

Grant Professionals of Lower Hudson, (GPLH) a 501(c)(3) organization that provides educational enrichment, advocacy, networking, professional development and support for grant seekers and grant writing professionals has announced this year’s board of directors.

Lydia Howie, CEO of Howie Marketing and Consulting of Somers, (pictured) and Lisa Keogh, Independent Fundraising Consultant, of Putnam Valley, will serve as Co-Presidents. Ms. Howie founded the Grant Professionals of Lower Hudson in 2008 to advance the field of grant writing in the region and served as its first President from 2008-2016. Ms. Keogh was a founding board member of GPLH, serving as Treasurer and Social Media Chair. 

Nancy Keane, Director of Mission Advancement at Wartburg will serve as Vice President; Immediate Past President Joanne Stewart of the Goodworks Advisory Group, Secretary; and Fiona Matthew, Treasurer. 

Program Co-Chairs are Jan Fisher of Jan Fisher, LLC and Alison Paul, President, Alison Paul Grantwriting and Consulting; Sharon Camlic of Sharon Camlic Consulting, Member Services Chair; Carol Nordgren of Carol A. Nordgren NonProfit Consulting, Job Bank Chair.

Charlisa Garg of Columbia University, Social Media Chair; Christine Chenevey of CAREERS Support Solutions, Public Relations Chair; Terri Eberle Katz of TEK Consulting, LLC, Internship Program Chair; Barbara Cervoni, LMSW, ACSW of Support Connection, Website Manager.

Grant Professionals of Lower Hudson is a nonprofit grant writing professional education and advocacy organization, whose mission is to enhance fundraising and philanthropy in the lower Hudson Valley through the advancement of grantsmanship. GPLH provides educational opportunities for those interested in grant writing, promotes high ethical industry standards and raises public awareness of philanthropy and charitable giving.
