To better ensure the security of ticket transactions, Metro-North ticket machines have been enabled with a chip reading function.
If you purchase your tickets with a chip enabled card, please follow the on-screen instructions and pin pad, keep your card inserted until the chip is read in order to complete the transaction. You can also follow the directions posted at your machine.
