The Town of Somers residents may drop off their recycled Christmas trees at the Somers Highway Department on the following dates and times.
- Saturday, Jan. 9: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 16: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, Jan. 23: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you can not drop off the tree yourself, the Town has advised that Somers Boy Scout Troop 228 can help by picking up your tree and dropping it off at the Highway Department. The suggested donation of $20 helps support the BSA Troop 228 outdoor program(s).
The Somers Highway Department is located at 250 Route 100 in Somers.
