If you answered "yes" to any of those questions, then Hudson Valley Books for Humanity will be the place for you. They will offer used books (all genres), new books (focused on women, BIPOC, and other historically underrepresented voices), books in Spanish, Hudson valley artisan products, and space to showcase local artistic and literary talent. All will be welcome in our store, located in the center of downtown Ossining.
Amy, the owner of Hudson Valley Books for Humanity, has lived in Ossining with her husband Rob for over 20 years. They've raised two girls in the Ossining public schools and have been active in the community through their work and volunteerism. A long-time human rights and sustainability professional (with EILEEN FISHER), Amy enjoys picking up trash on the shoreline or riding her (self-built) bamboo bike on the North County Trail. She also plays the bassoon (that funny-sounding double-reed woodwind) with the Hudson Valley Symphonic Wind Ensemble.
