A Beaver Emergency at Angle Fly Preserve

Recently, we discovered that we have beaver activity in the pond next to the Memory Forest. The beaver have raised the water level about one foot and are cutting trees next to the Memory Forest. We need to fence some of the trees that are at risk and we need to clear a short trail to give us access to the dam so we can assess what we might need to do so the Memory Forest does not get flooded..
We know it is short notice, but we have scheduled an emergency volunteer day tomorrow (Sunday) at 10:00 AM at the entrance of the Angle Fly Preserve. The work should take about two hours. Please join us.
