Somers Library to close through March 31.

The health and safety of our public and staff are very important to us.

In an effort to minimize transmission of the COVID-19 virus, the Somers Public Library will be closed to the public from March 17th through March 30th. We will reopen March 31st.

We know that our community relies on us for library service and we ask for your understanding as we work to respond to this rapidly changing situation.

Please do not return Library items while we are closed. We will forgive all fines and collect items when we reopen.

Please know that many of our services are available 24/7 through our Digital Library.

  • To borrow books, watch movies, or stream music, visit our eBooks and Audiobook page to get access to OverDrive, hoopla, and Kanopy.
  • Our Learning Resources page will allow you to learn a new language with Mango Languages and take professional software, technology, and business classes with Lynda.com.
  • If academics are at the top of your mind, Tutor.com provides free, on demand help from a real tutor. Take practice tests, watch videos, or drop off your problem or writing assignment for feedback. Just go to tutor.com/westchester; all you'll need to start is your library card!
