Art Exhibit: Paintings by Supriya Hermenze at the Somers Library Art Gallery July 2 - 31, during library hours
Supriya is a licensed massage therapist who began painting in 2000, offering massages in exchange for painting lessons. She fell in love with color, texture and the amazing way she felt after focusing for hours while painting. Besides being a painter, she is also a yoga teacher, Interfaith minister, improvisational dancer, gardener and lover of nature.
Her work has been exhibited at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists, SCAN in Newtown's art shows, the Rowayton Art Center and several restaurants in Bethel, CT.
