Telling Your Story in the College Process at the Somers Library

Telling Your Story in the College Process at the Somers Library
Wednesday, August 1 from 6:30 - 7:45 pm

How do colleges get to know every student who applies? In this workshop, we will discuss a holistic admissions process and answer how your child can meet the criteria. This presentation will show how students can tell their own stories through a process of self-awareness and, using this knowledge, create a storyboard to use in their applications. To do this, students will select attributes from their learning styles, interests, educational pathways, future majors, and activities they feel make them unique. This workshop will be interactive and participants will leave with an understanding of how to tell their story! Registration is required; please register on our online calendar here or call 914-232-5717.
