Ann's Place Hosts Free Program: Navigating Stress & Cancer

Ann's Place will host a free program on Thursday, September 27 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm titled: Navigating Stress & Cancer.

Pharmacological, Psychotherapeutic, Integrative, and Other Approaches to Anxiety

Anxiety is perhaps the most common form of distress facing those who come to Ann’s Place for support.   This program will explore some of the causes and symptoms of anxiety, the relationship between anxiety and cancer, and healthy and effective strategies for dealing with stress. 

Panelists:

Jennifer Phelps, M.D., specializing in family and integrative medicine

Myron Glucksman, M.D., psychiatrist and psychoanalyst

Kevin Berrill, L.C.S.W., clinical social worker at Ann’s Place

This program is open to the general public.  There is no fee to attend, but registration is required.  To register, call (203) 790-6568 and ask to speak with a member of the clinical staff.
