As the days get cooler, there’s nothing better than a bowl of homemade soup- It’s a great way to stir up some delicious family fun. Start with a recipe, some creativity, a good stock and lots of vegetables, meat or even leftovers, to create the perfect meal in a bowl.
Making a soup together builds so many skills - reading and measuring ,chopping, crushing and stirring. Young sous chefs will enjoy creating their own recipes!
Vegetable Soup Memory Game
• Have everyone sit in a circle.
• Begin the game by saying, “We're making Vegetable soup today and we're adding... (name a vegetable.)
• Take turns adding to the pot by saying exactly what was said before, adding one more vegetable and continue as many times as you can.
