VoiceScapes Audio Theater Presents:

An Afternoon of Comedy & Drama

Sunday, November 19th, 2 PM - 3 PM

VoiceScapes is a modern day audio theater company formed in 2012 and made up of award-winning professional sound engineers, actors, writers and producers. They perform short, contemporary original plays, both comedy and drama, complete with music and recorded sound effects. Get ready to laugh out loud and be transported through their collection of very funny comedies and thought-provoking dramas. Their short plays are original and contemporary, using the acting skills of their talented company!

No registration required. First come first served.

Tuskers of Text High School Book Club

Monday, November 20th, 3:45 PM - 4:45 PM

The Tuskers of Text is run by teens, for teens and the group votes and decides on the books themselves. The library supplies the snacks and the club meets in the teen room. Please register on our online calendar so we can make sure there is a book for you to check out. If you have already read the book, drop in and have fun talking about the characters you loved or loved to hate.

This month the club has picked to read Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston, the inspiration for the 2023 movie.

Classic Book Club for Middle School

Wednesday, November 29th, 3:45PM - 4:45PM

There are so many amazing books which are considered classics and a lot of them were written for young adults. This book club will meet to read those classics and to talk about when and why they were written and why so many are on banned books lists. Books will be available for pick up at the reference desk once you have registered on our online calendar.

Our first book is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen.

Afterschool Storytime (& Craft)

Tuesdays, November 21st & 28th, 3:45 PM

Join the children’s librarians for a themed storytime after school! Best for ages 4 and up but little ones are welcome! Craft included after storytime on the 21st of November.

No registration needed.

Children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Drop In & Take Home Crafts

Take Home, November 20th - 22nd

Drop in the children’s room any time for a take-home-craft the week of Thanksgiving! Best for ages 3 & up.
