Governor Cuomo on Monday issued an executive order that includes sending every voter information on how to apply for their absentee ballot.
In response, Susan Lerner, the Executive Director of Common Cause/NY issued the following statement:
"Governor Cuomo's executive orders are practical, pro-voter and will streamline the absentee process for millions of voters. thanks the Governor, and encourages all New York voters to get ahead of the curve and apply for their absentee ballot today."
In July, the Let NY Vote Coalition of which Common Cause/NY is a member, released their election reform priorities.
