WJCS Gala Honoring NYS Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Mariquita Blumberg

The Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) 2022 Gala will take place on Tuesday April 5th from 6:30-9 pm at the Brae Burn Country Club in Purchase and online between 8-9 pm.

WJCS is privileged to salute New York State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and WJCS CEO and Scarsdale resident Mariquita Blumberg as this year's honorees. “We are proud to honor Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins an outstanding State leader and someone who epitomizes the mission that drives our work at WJCS every day,” said WJCS CEO Seth Diamond. “Just as WJCS helps people of all ages and backgrounds who are struggling with major life challenges, Andrea Stewart-Cousins has worked  tirelessly to improve the lives of families in Westchester and all of New York State. We are thrilled to salute her and WJCS Board president Mariquita Blumberg at this year’s Gala. Mariquita's strong, stellar leadership has been vitally important as WJCS navigated the challenging days of Covid and provided individuals struggling in Westchester with vitally important services."

As one of the largest human service organizations in Westchester County WJCS serves 20,000 individuals each year, providing mental health, trauma, special needs, youth, family, senior, and Jewish programming services.
