State Police in Troop K remove sixteen impaired drivers from public roadways over the June 15, 2019, weekend

New York State Police (Troop K, Somers) report that over the June 15, 2019 weekend they removed 16 Intoxicated or Impaired drivers from area roadways. Several of the arrests occurred in this area and are listed below.

On June 15, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Robert E. Pearman, age 62, of Farmersburg, IN, for DWI.  He was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On June 16, 2019, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Jorge Tepan, age 40, of Haverstraw, NY, for Aggravated DWI with a prior conviction, a class E felony.  He was traveling on North Division Street in the town of Cortlandt, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.

On June 16, 2019, State Police from SP Cortlandt arrested Jaime S. Caiza Espejo, age 27, of Carmel, NY, for Aggravated DWI Leandra’s Law, a class E felony.  He was traveling on Oregon Road in the town of Cortlandt, when he was involved in a one car motor vehicle crash.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol with a child in the vehicle, and was subsequently arrested.

On June 16, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Christopher L. King, age 36, of Chicago, IL, for DWI.  He was traveling on State Route 123 in the town of Lewisboro, when he was involved in a one car personal injury crash.  Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
