The New York State Police report that they removed 25 impaired drivers from area roadways this past weekend, Sept 6th through September 9th. Several of those arrested were operating on roads in Somers & Brewster area. Below are several of those arrested.
On September 6, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Isaac Brito-Farez, age 52, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 138 in the town of Somers, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested
On September 7, 2019, State Police from SP Somers arrested Francisco J. Gude, age 53, of Newtown, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when his vehicle became disabled. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On September 8, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Jaret L. Devellis, age 21, of Newtown, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on Milltown Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On September 8, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Erik N. Mandel, age 34, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 22 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
On September 9, 2019, State Police from SP Brewster arrested Francisco J. Aparicio Enriquez, age 27, of Charlottesville, VA, for DWI. He was traveling on Main Street in the village of Brewster, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, and was subsequently arrested.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
