Vine Cutting "Swarm" this Fall

The Somers Land Trust and the Angle Fly Preserve have been selected by Ground Works for a vine cutting "swarm" this fall. Japanese Knotweed and Mile a Minute are just two of the destructive plants invading our county! Both are invasive species that are appealing to the eye, however they are capable of crowding out other vegetation. Killing everything in its path and continuously growing more and more.

We're hoping to get over 100 vine cutters to cut vines in the AFP. We will have help from many volunteers from around the county. We hope you'll get involved. This impacts nearly everyone's property!

Come learn what to pull from your own backyard. Date and information to follow!
