Westchester County, New York - On December 29, 2021 the New York State Police from the Somers barracks conducted an Underage Drinking Initiative throughout Westchester County.
During this Underage Drinking Initiative, eighteen retail establishments were checked for compliance utilizing a Trooper in plainclothes and an underage operative utilizing a valid NY Driver’s License. All eighteen establishments were in compliance and refused to sell any alcoholic beverages to the underage operative.
The New York State Police routinely conducts underage drinking enforcement operations throughout the state in an effort to curb alcohol abuse and DWI incidents involving teenagers.
