16th Annual Old-fashioned Flea Market on Sunday, August 27

On Sunday, August 27, 2023, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum will hold its 16th annual Old-fashioned Flea Market in Mathews Park, Norwalk, CT.

“The Old-fashioned Flea Market and Antique Show will take place as usual and we expect to surpass last year's record numbers in terms of dealers and customers despite the Mansion being closed for renovations,” said Committee Chair Steve Balser, who, given the already robust response from vendors enthusiastically declared, “The show must go on!”

An extensive selection of vendors will offer antiques, repurposed furniture, upcycled collectibles, jewelry, crafts, household items, clothing, toys, specialty farm-to-table foods and more. Trucks serving an array of delicious cuisines will sustain hungry and adventurous shoppers as they hunt for treasures and unique items.

The Mansion will manage a White Elephant Table, selling items generously donated by supporters as well as an Outdoor Gift Shop Corner featuring museum-centric accessories and gift items relating to history and preservation.

All proceeds will benefit the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum’s educational and cultural programs. The Museum has donated several booths to area nonprofits, who will share their message and mission with attendees.

Vendor spaces are 10x16 ft. and cost $75 per space. Food vendor booths are $150. The deadline is Aug. 1. Vendors wishing to reserve a space or purchase an ad in the program booklet distributed to all visitors can call Charles Hill, Education, Building & Events Coordinator, at 203-838-9799, ext. 117 or email This email address is being protected from spambots.
