Today, Google is expanding its Google Express service to a large portion of the east coast, in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Now, over 70 million more people will have access to two-day delivery shopping at stores like Costco, Whole Foods Market, Kohl’s, Petsmart, and more - right from their mobile phones or laptops.
Since first launching Google Express, Google has worked alongside retailers to help people get the items they use every day. Google Express makes it easy for shoppers to get the things they need in one convenient place, from multiple stores, giving them more time back in their week for the activities they love.
"Our goal with Google Express is to offer a great shopping experience and connect people with their favorite stores,” said Brian Elliott, General Manager of Google Express. “Today, we're very excited to be further expanding our efforts -- making it easy for millions in Connecticut to get things they need from stores they love -- delivered fast."
Starting on September 28th, shoppers in Connecticut will have two options to enjoy delivery from their favorite local retailers through Google Express:
Membership for $95/ year
Pay-as-you-go: as low as $4.99 per order
