Norwalk Now, the collaborative marketing organization where business come together to promote themselves and each other in a unified effort, is quickly approaching its one-year anniversary. This past year has brought together restaurants, retailers, attractions, consumers, and a wide array of supporters. One such supporting team member has been our amazing local social media brigade. Together, we’ve dined, hunted, played, and promoted Norwalk Now’s enthusiastic businesses with the click of a camera or phone, informative post, inclusive tag, and of course, the almighty hashtag!
“There’s some truly incredible Instagram talent in this area,” says Norwalk Now Social Media Director Julie Webel, who in less than a year has grown the Norwalk Now Instagram page to 4000 followers, “The photography, variety, and the interaction they have with their followers is not only fun – it’s impressive.”
For the entire month of August, Norwalk Now is posing their first “INSTA-CHALLENGE” to local Instagrammers. Participants are encouraged to post creative photos, videos, and boomerangs of the restaurants, retailers, attractions, and sponsors that make-up Norwalk Now.

Tag the Norwalk Now Business and Norwalk Now and be sure to include #NORWALKNOWINSTA.
The winning Instagram is based on the quantity, quality, and creativity of the posts posted from August 1-31, 2018.
The winner will receive a $500 Norwalk Now Gift Card Package and have their photos featured in the “Norwalk Now Focus” photography show in November.
Participants will also find added Instagram challenges throughout the month on Norwalk Now’s @NorwalkNow social media platforms.
