Why Small Businesses Matter in Norwalk: O'Neill's Irish Pub

Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT O’Neill’s Irish Pub!

Three questions with Ollie O’Neill, founder of O’Neill’s Irish Pub.

Why did you start your business?

From an early age, I was very interested in the hospitality business. And after moving to the US I had the opportunity to open my own business in Norwalk. It was always a dream and we have enjoyed being part of the Norwalk community now for almost 22 years.

What is your best selling product/service?

People come to O’Neills for our delicious food, friendly service, and great drinks.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

I use many local businesses. Longfords Ice cream, TM Ward coffee, many local breweries, de Florio's bakery, effective plumbing, all of our distributors are local.

O'Neill's Irish Pub would like to recommend Washington Prime restaurant in south Norwalk as another local small business that matters.

O’Neill’s Irish Pub is located at 93 North Main St. in Norwalk. Visit O’Neill’s Irish Pub online here.
