Why Small Businesses Matter in Norwalk: Saltwater Sono

Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Saltwater Sono!

Four questions with Sandra Reyes co-owner of Saltwater Sono.

Why did you start your business?

Saltwater Sono has been in the business since 2017 my husband and I decided to join our partner Miguel on January 5, 2022, because we saw a great opportunity. We were customers before and we loved the service and the food. We also had a bar that unfortunately got shut down because of covid, so what could be better than to join the team?

What is your best-selling product/service?

We specialize in seafood, one of our customer's favorites is our oysters and our surf and turf.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We support our local seafood company like early seafood and we buy local oysters, we also support our local supermarkets.

Anything you want the community to know?

We would love everyone would come and enjoy everything on our menu and be delighted by our beautiful place.
