
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 67 in Southbury.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.70 mile segment of Rt. 67 in Southbury. This project is scheduled to occur from Monday, July 6, 2015 to Monday, July 20, 2015. The milling project will occur from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on July 6, 2015 to the morning of July 8, 2015, and from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on July 9, 2015 to the morning of July 11, 2015.
The paving will occur from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. July 12, 2015 to the morning of July 14, 2015, and from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. July 15, 2015 to the morning of July 17, 2015.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 67 between Rt. 6 and Rt. 188.Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
