Fairfield County Bank appoints local resident VP of Digital Banking

Fairfield County Bank announced the recent appointment of Stephen Wooters, Executive Vice President of Electronic Banking and Payment Systems.

In his new role, Mr. Wooters is responsible for the continued development of Fairfield County Bank’s electronic banking proposition and payment's strategy.  The focus on Digital Banking is directed at increasing the accessibility and delivery of financial services across electronic channels. His responsibilities include the Bank’s debit card offering, e-Commerce, digital payments and the development and enhancement of the Cash Management offering.

Prior to joining Fairfield County Bank, Mr. Wooters was Head of North American Retail and Small Business Payments at BMO.  He previously held several positions at RSB Citizens Financial Group, among them Head of US Payments, Head of US Commercial Cards, and Director of Small Business Lending.

Mr. Wooters is a graduate of Salisbury University- Perdue School of Business and earned his MBA at Pennsylvania State University. He recently relocated to Ridgefield, CT where he resides with his wife and daughter.
