Taylor Guth was named the Valedictorian and Sean McCoy was named the Salutatorian for the graduating Class of 2016. Combined, the 113 students were awarded $17.5 million in scholarships and merit awards from top ranked colleges and universities.
In her address to her classmates, Guth shared that "We are the 50th graduating class of Immaculate High School and thus our year has been unforgettable and unparalleled with any other graduating class in the history of our school. Our Catholic education has prepared us to accept and overcome life's challenges. Immaculate was a place that promised respect, responsibility and reverence; a place where teachers were genuinely concerned about our success and happiness and inspired us to do great things; and a place that had a greater impact on our lives than we may have realized."
