Woodbury Lions Club Annual Antique Car Show

The Woodbury Lions Club will hold their 36th Annual Antique Car Show on Sunday, June 8 at Hollow Park in Woodbury.

Cars can begin to enter for judging at 9 a.m., with the first three hundred entries receiving a free dashboard plaque. Everyone else will be admitted starting at 10 a.m. Admission price is $15 per car, $5 per person, and children under 10 are $1.

In addition, there will be no entry fee for cars made before 1914. Judging begins at Noon, with trophies presented at 3p.m.

The event will contain all the fun and excitement for the whole family that has made past shows a success, with food and beverages, raffles, music and, this year, an expanded vendor area. Once again, along with over twenty-five automobile classes, there will be judging classes for motorcycles, trucks, and military vehicles.

The Lions use the proceeds from the event, as well as from their Haunted Hayride, to award scholarships to graduating Nonnewaug High School seniors. This year, local students going on to college received $15,000 in financial aid from the Lions.
