Southbury Film Commission presents: The Big Fat Fix on March 29

Join members of the SFC and our esteemed panel of Southbury health and wellness professionals, Wednesday, March 29th at 7:00 pm, Southbury Town Hall, Room 205 for a screening of "The Big Fat Fix." "The Big Fat Fix," is not about a diet! It's about a lifestyle! The Mediterranean lifestyle. "The Big Fat Fix" is an independent co-production between former international athlete Donal O'Neill and Dr. Aseem Malhotra, one of the most influential cardiologists in Britain and a leading expert in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of heart disease. Dr. Malhotra takes practicing medicine to a whole new level by leading the global crusade against excess sugar consumption and by championing lifestyle approaches to good health. This new film offers solutions to preventing and reversing diet-related disease.

Following the film, there will be a 20-30 minute panel discussion with local health and wellness experts including Keri Taranovich Rich, NASM, WNBF Figure Pro and general manager and trainer at Catalyst Health and Fitness in Southbury, Beth Rosen, MS, RD, CDN a Registered Dietitian and owner of Goodness Gracious Living in Southbury and Aaron Warren, owner and creator of Manipura Power Yoga in Southbury.
