
The Woodbury Summer Concert Series will hit the lawn kicking off with the Connecticut Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers at 6:30 p.m. on July 9 at Hollow Park.
The concert series is presented by the Woodbury-Bethlehem Community Music Foundation, Inc. in conjunction with the Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department.
All concerts will at 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm in Hollow Park, Woodbury. In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved to the Historic Town Hall on Mountain Road.

July 9: Connecticut Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers
A Fiddlers Club since 1972, promoting old time fiddling, by playing old barn square dance tunes such as Turkey in the Straw, Golden Slippers and The Irish Washerwoman. Their musical instruments include fiddles, guitar, banjitar, banjos, mandolins, button boxes, accordions, spoons, harmonicas, and percussion with a wood block and cow bell. The musicians ages range from 8 to 91 and can demonstrate"entertaining talent" while performing group and solo playing. Their upbeat tunes are often referred to as "Happy Music"!
July 16: Jerrod Cattey and Friends
Jerrod Cattey and Friends is a Connecticut-based quartet plus a vocalist. With over ten years of professional experience under their belt, the group brings their youthful energy to the standard jazz repertoire, Brazilian music, R&B, and their original compositions.
July 30: Goldrush
Goldrush is a unique ensemble that performs original, traditional and American Roots Music . Their distinctive brand of hard-driving bluegrass music combines soulful and powerful harmony singing with exciting instrumental playing. Lead vocalists, Gary and Mary Beth Sippin, have been performing successfully as a husband and wife duo for over 20 years. Together they have made several appearances on Nashville's Grand Ol' Opry and TNN. Goldrush spotlights an exceptional group of musicians including, John Widgren on pedal steel guitar, Chris Coogan on piano, Gary Wikfors on mandolin, Dick Neal on banjo and John Mobilio on upright bass guitar.
