This time when the trains go to the dogs it is a good thing.
Take Metro-North to see the UConn Huskies battle the Iowa State Cyclones in an NCAA East Regional Division semi-final showdown on Friday, March 28, at 7:30 PM at Madison Square Garden.
Metro-North will operate an extra train departing New Haven Station at 4:15 PM, stopping in Bridgeport at 4:36 PM and arriving at 6 PM in Grand Central Terminal, which is a short walk, subway or bus ride from Madison Square Garden. There will also be extra cars added to regularly scheduled trains departing New Haven between 2 PM & 5 PM, including the 3:50 PM.
After the game, where possible we'll add more cars on outbound New Haven Line trains departing Grand Central between 9:30 PM and 11:22 PM.
